Independent publisher & bookseller

Buy the book from the house that printed it.

SveltePress publishes short-run editions and sells them direct. No marketplace middle, no mystery stock photo — the spring list is on the shelf below.

Pay by card with Stripe · Ships from the press desk · sales@svelte.systems

Printed in short runs. When a title is gone, we reprint or we don’t — we say which.

Sold by the house. Your note goes to the same desk that packed the last carton.

Kept, not flipped. Sewn or well-glued paperbacks meant to live on a shelf.

What you are paying for

Access is an entitlement on your SveltePress customer record. The reader uses the press Grok key — you do not paste an API key. Extra Grok is billed to the same card.

The press

A small house. Finished books.

SveltePress is the publisher and the shop. We edit, print in short runs, and sell the copies ourselves.

If you want a book we made, add it to the cart and pay with Stripe. The charge is the list price plus media-mail postage. We still pack the carton at this desk.

The list is short on purpose. We would rather keep six books in print well than decorate a storefront with titles we cannot pack this week.

How to order

Add the stack. Pay on Stripe.

  1. Choose the books. Use Add to cart on any title. The header badge is the running count.
  2. Pay by card. Checkout opens Stripe. Postage is media mail, shown before you confirm. We never see the card number.
  3. We pack the copy. Most in-stock titles leave within three business days. If a book is between printings, we write before we ship.

Trade, library, or a dedicated copy? Still write sales@svelte.systems — those are not a checkbox.

The cart is the till

Stripe takes the card. We take the parcel. Open the drawer to change quantities or pay.

Before you write

Plain answers

Do you sell ebooks?
The printed list is paper. Biblical References is separate: a paid LiveView reader, billed on Stripe as a SveltePress subscription.
Can I return a book?
Yes, if it arrives damaged or we sent the wrong title. Write within 14 days with a photo. We replace or refund; you are not stuck with our packing error.
How do I pay?
Add titles to the cart and check out with Stripe. The charge is the list price plus media-mail postage. Trade and library accounts still go by email.
Do you take trade or library orders?
Yes. Put “trade” or “library” in the subject and the quantity in the body. We will answer with discount and ship date, not a generic catalog PDF.
Will you sign or dedicate a copy?
When the author is in reach, yes. Ask in the order note. If we cannot, we say so before you pay.
